THE BOTTOM LINE IS...

Federal funding to private schools has grown at up to five times the rate of public schools per student, and all private schools are funded at over 100% of SRS.

Public schools remain 10% below their minimum required SRS funding, a short fall of more than $6.5 billion per year, and are more than $3 billion a year short of investment in school facilities.
